All children aged 3 and 4 years old in England are entitled to 15 hours of universal funded childcare per week for 38 weeks of the year.
This funding is available to all families, regardless of income or employment status, and can usually be accessed from the term after your child turns 3.
At Littleworld Day Nurseries, we offer funded childcare for 11 hours per week across 51 weeks of the year, helping families spread their funded hours more evenly.
Some 2-year-olds may also qualify for 15 hours of funded childcare if families meet certain eligibility criteria.
This funding is designed to help more children access early years education and can support children’s learning, confidence, social development, and preparation for school.
Eligibility may depend on household income, benefits, or additional support needs.
Eligible working families in England may be able to access up to 30 hours of funded childcare for children aged between 9 months and 4 years old.
This funding is designed to help support working families with childcare costs and is available from the term after your child reaches the eligible age.
Parents usually need to meet minimum income requirements and apply through the government childcare service to access this funding.
At Littleworld Day Nurseries, funded childcare is offered on a stretched basis of 22 hours per week across 51 weeks of the year.
Applications for funded childcare are completed through the government childcare service.
If your application is approved, you’ll receive a code that must be provided to the nursery before your funded hours can begin.
You’ll also need to reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months to continue receiving funded childcare.
